PBS’ Live from the Artists Den, featuring indie-folk band Lord Huron, will be screened at the historic Mission Playhouse in San Gabriel at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 24.
Filmed at the Mission Playhouse last fall, the special episode captures an intimate Lord Huron performance at one of San Gabriel’s most iconic venues. Those who attended the original recording—and those who missed it—will have an opportunity to experience the concert on the big screen.
Founded by singer-songwriter Ben Schneider, Lord Huron is known for its cinematic sound, folk influences and richly layered storytelling. Together with longtime bandmates Mark Barry, Miguel Brise?o and Tom Renaud, the group has developed a loyal following through immersive live performances and creative projects that expand upon the stories behind its music.
The one-night-only screening is free, although advance reservations are encouraged.
