SAN GABRIEL, Calif. — The City of San Gabriel and the San Gabriel Police Department will host the 32nd Annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Historic Mission District at 320 S. Mission Drive. The free community event is open to residents of all ages.

The family-friendly celebration will feature food trucks, face painting, balloon artists, a petting zoo, bounce houses, children's games, and the popular donut-eating contest, where participants can compete for prizes. Live entertainment will be provided by Smooth Sounds of Santana.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet San Gabriel police officers, firefighters, and city staff while learning about public safety programs and community services. Public safety vehicles—including the Police Department's armored rescue vehicle, DUI trailer, and a fire engine—will also be on display.

Information booths will offer resources on emergency preparedness, crime prevention, Neighborhood Watch, and other city services designed to help keep the community safe.

National Night Out is an annual nationwide campaign that promotes stronger relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve by encouraging neighborhood engagement and public safety awareness.
