LOS ANGELES — Registration for the second LA28 Olympic Ticket Draw, known as Drop 2, has closed. Those who successfully entered the draw are expected to receive time-slot notifications on August 6 or 7, with purchasing windows scheduled between August 10 and 20.
Receiving a time slot does not guarantee that specific tickets will be available. Each assigned purchasing window will remain open for 48 hours, and all tickets are subject to availability at the time of purchase.
Ticket Limits
Each registered account may purchase up to 12 tickets across Olympic sports and sessions. The limit is cumulative across all ticket drops, with separate provisions for Olympic Football:
- General Olympic events: A cumulative maximum of 12 tickets per account.
- Olympic Football: Up to 12 additional tickets may be purchased separately from the general limit.
- Opening and Closing Ceremonies: A maximum of four tickets may be purchased for each ceremony, but those tickets count toward the general 12-ticket limit.
Customers who previously reached the 12-ticket general limit may still purchase up to 12 Olympic Football tickets during a later sales period.
Seating and Shopping-Cart Rules
Customers will select a ticket category rather than a specific seat when purchasing. Individual seats will be assigned closer to the Games.
Tickets placed in a shopping cart will be held for 30 minutes. If the cart expires or tickets are removed, adding an available ticket again will restart the 30-minute holding period.
LA28 encourages prospective buyers to review the Olympic competition schedule, venue information and geographic zones before their purchasing windows begin. Because inventory may change, customers are advised to use the ticketing platform’s filters and remain flexible when considering sports and sessions.
Additional guidance is available through LA28’s official FAQ page and ticketing resources.
